Everyday in May -1

I saw this challenge the other day on a gal's blog and I thought it was the perfect thing to get me blogging more regularly again. The challenge, a post everyday in May.

I know it's the fourth and I'm just now publishing them, but we aren't going to worry about that!

May 1st.

We woke up early and got ready for Caiden's soccer game. The boys are doing so well. They must have a really good coach! :) hee hee! Caiden made 3 goals, after that Coach Daddy told him not to score anymore because no one else on either team had yet. So Caiden just passed it to his team mates to help them make a goal.

After the game we went to our usual for Saturday morning breakfast- Beez Cafe. The kids got their Strawberry Pancakes with ice cream, Jason got steak and eggs and I got the breakfast skillet with scones.

After that we headed to the salon so that Jason and Caiden could get their hair cut.
Jason got his usual. Caiden wanted a mo-hawk. He styled his hair in a mohawk for the game, but now he wanted it CUT into one too. I caved. He shaved the sides and got his mohawk. I have to admit, I LOVE it!

When they were done Blaise asked if he could cut his hair. I thought maybe he wanted a trim..........no, he wanted to cut it off. I about died. This kid LOVES his long hair. He thinks his hair is what made him so cool, so when he said he wanted to cut it I was shocked. I admit, I tried to talk him out of it. I thought for sure he would HATE it, and I would HATE it. But he was sure. So I let him. And he told the girl what he wanted, he pulled up a picture of his favorite soccer player on my phone and showed the girl, and she went to town. There was A LOT of hair on the floor! And the girl just kept saying how cute his face was!! When it was all said and done, I have to say, he made a wise decision. That kid is so good lookin that he would look good with any style, but I REALLY love this new do on him!

After that we came home so Caiden could change out of his soccer clothes and then we headed to the mall. We walked around for a bit but only ended up with two pair of shoes for Miss Ava. Blaise complained that his foot was starting to hurt, and then I remembered that walking the Mall was too much for him sometimes.

So we headed to the movies. We saw clash of the Titans. Caiden fell asleep within 20 minutes, but woke up when Daddy tried to steal his candy about 15 minutes into his nap. Ava stayed up long enough to see the flying horses, then she conked out, but woke up again just in time to see the flying horse again! Isn't that weird!? That is why she wanted to see the movie too!! Blaise really liked it, he said it is his favorite so far. Mine is still How to Train your Dragon.

After that we went out to dinner at Maple Gardens. Yummy!

Then we came home and read books on the couch downstairs and then off to bed.

It was a LONG day, we were gone from 9:30- 8:30 but we had a great day!!!
