Halloween
Well, technically, the night BEFORE Halloween. We live in Utah, so they trick or treat on Saturday, not Sunday.
Anyhoo, so Saturday Jason and Blaise drove up to Logan because Blaise had a soccer thing up there ALL day. The other kids and I stayed home. I wasn't feeling well at all, and they were so happy to stay in their jammies and play on the computer.
Jason and Blaise got home about 5 that evening and it was full on raining. We got the kids dressed up, and went outside to take pics, and it was pouring! Soooooo, I took pics in the house and we did plan B.
But first, here are the costumes. They are very clever. They each came up with their own costume, picked out everything, and help MAKE everything. This year we did a HANDMADE Halloween. Each costume is custom designed and made!
Blaise was a Zombie Hobo! He got a suit, tore it up, rubbed dirt on it, safety pinned some patches on it and made a sign and a nap sack! He was awesome!
Caiden was a Werewolf. This was was almost a no go! He decided to be a werewolf, then changed his mind to a Mummy. I was heart broken because I thought he would make a fabulous werewolf. Then he saw some fur at the fabric store and changed his mind back to a werewolf. I was so glad, cuz he is the CUTEST little werewolf ever!
Avery wanted to be a Peacock. Where she comes up with her ideas, the world will never know. She knew exactly how she wanted it too, she wanted feathers on her body, and her tail sticking up over her head, and a mask!
When we saw the rain, we headed to the Mall.
The Mall was more crowded then I've EVER seen it! We turned around and walked out and decided to brave the rain with some umbrellas. As we were leaving the mall we saw this!!!
We drove to Sleepy Hollow, it's a housing development just up from ours. We were invited to go by this guy we saw on our street.

The rain let up and the kids had a blast. Some of the houses were really decked out! They got a lot of candy, king sized bars, twinkies, cookies, popcorn, light up horn head bands,........they pretty much scored!

After the kids buckets filled up TO THE RIM, we went to Costa Vida for dinner then came home and watched Hocus Pocus and ate some candy!!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
