Halloween
I don't know if I have said it before, but WE LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!!
I love it so much because its truly a day of imagination and creativity. We love to decorate the house and even though it's a "creepy" holiday, our home is always full of warmth, laughter and excitement this time of year. We do something festive EVERY day in October,.........or we try to anyways. I like to play Halloween organ music during the day. We make lots of pumpkin treats. We break out the hot chocolate. We watch LOTS of fun movies. We go to pumpkin patches and play lots of dress up.
The decor!!
Then of course the fun at the ward Halloween bash, that I took pictures of every family with this fun backdrop Jason and his scouts set up.
And we had a B.L.A.S.T. at the pumpkin patch that we have been going to for 5 years. This year my parents and my sister and her family joined us for a day of fun. It was seriously so great. We got lost in the maze, ate delicious fried twinkies, went on a hay ride, shot corn through the air. SO FUN!
Now on to the MAIN event! I always LOVE seeing what the kids come up with for their costumes. They always think up what they want to be, help design it and make it!
Miss Ava was a Vampire Bat.
Blaise was a headless guy. And just a side note so I dont forget, this was the first year Blaise went out without us! He went out with some friends, so it was just Jason and I with the littles. It was a little stange, but Blaise had a blast,............until he came home and saw that the littles actually got MORE candy than he did!!!
