This song makes me SO HAPPY!!!

I was in a foul mood this morning. Jason had to work today because... well because things happen and when you own the company, you have to fix other people's mistakes! I had big plans for today too! So I had to get all 3 kids ready by myself and take Blaise to his first indoor soccer game. We needed to leave early because I needed to stop and buy indoor soccer shoes for Blaise. So I put his uniform in the dryer, and get everyone ready.

BUZZZ...........the dryer goes off! I get the clothes out and there is stinky yellow stuff all over his white shorts!!! Cat poop in the dryer! ARGGHHHHH! I was so so so mad! I wanted to sell my cats to some famous football player! So I washed them by hand and cleaned out the dryer and started over, but now there was no time to buy shoes, so he had to wear his Vans.

So we get on the road, and it was old folks day or something because I got behind every 15 mile an hour driver that exist here in Utah! Avery was crying because I forgot her doll, and Caiden was mad because I made him wear a sweater. (this kid is TOTAL white trash! He would be happy in shorts, a dirty ole' ugly spiderman shirt and sandals.....in the middle of winter!) I was fuming.

PLUS, I had cramps that were killing me!! I started the "program" last night! (This is Jason's cute way of referring to menstrual cycles. I don't think it's too cute. "Programs" usually refer to something pleasant. A show, a musical,....... not cramping, crankiness and everything else that goes with it!) Anyways, so I was literally steaming, ready to boil over and explode. My day was crap, and I was just waiting for someone to make it crappier so I could let lose and maybe feel a little better because I had an emotional explosion!

But then, like a light from the heavens and angels singing, I turn on the radio and I hear this song- Tenderness, by General Public. My mood did a speedy 180! I was dancing, I was singing I could see the birds flying in the beautiful sun-lit sky. I was happy with the world. The cramps - disappeared, the slow drivers- they sped up. My growing irritation with my children - gone. I even noticed one of those guys on the side of the road that hold the signs for business,........you know....... dancing around like a little fool, trying to get your attention hoping that you suddenly remember, "why yes, I do need to buy a mattress today!" And instead of rolling my eyes and feeling pitty for this poor guy, I smiled, and thought to myself, "he's got the right idea! Dancing away, on the side of the road! What a life!" He must have been listening to the same song!

Those movies make me giddy too! and I warn you, do not, I repeat DO NOT push play to listen to this song unless you are ready to be happy and dance. So if you are wanting to be mad at someone, and not quite ready to get over it yet, I suggest not pushing play! I will not be held responsible by for any fights cut short because of this post!)

Awww, how cute, all you needed was little "tenderness" to turn your day around! Okay, I'm sorry but it totally seems like all this stuff could ONLY HAPPEN TO YOU! I'm sorry but cat poop in the dryer, I mean c'mon, that's a total "Heather happening" (I'm going to start using that saying). I have to admit though that I laughed when I read it. Don't get me wrong, I DEFINITELY would not have been laughing if it happened to me, but since it didn't I found it quite amusing. Well I'm glad your day got better. By the way, how did Blaise's soccer game go? Oh and where the heck did Jason get the "program" from???

Ok, first of all.....totally get the hating animals thing! I grew up with them and now just find them repulsive whenever I have one in my house making it dirty and stinking it up! YUCK! I probably would have let them out the front door!
Secondly, maybe it's just the cheesy 80's dancing, but HA HA HA!!!! What a funny video. I LOVE that song too and we all have those songs that make us just want to dance! I LOVE music!!!!!

Blaise's game went good. They won 3-0. They have only lost one this season. They are kicking.........

And I dont'know where Jason got the program, but that is what he calls it. It's not funny.
