Quick Up-Date.

Yes, I am still alive.
It's just been really crazy around here.
More than usual.

We have company again, and I am on the PTA fall fundraising committee and we have ANOTHER fund-raiser we started this week, AND I am on the Activities committee for our ward and our ward Halloween Party was last night, so not much time for anything else.

Anyways, the Halloween Party was a success. We had a cake walk, a pumpkin carving contest, a bunch of soups and stews, a guy making cotton candy, carnival games, a spooky tunnel, and pictures. Jason and I set up a spooky backdrop and then people could go and get a family picture of them all geared up in their Halloween costumes. It was a hit. I was busy all night, so we didn't get any pictures of the kids actually playing at the carnival, and I didn't get to really hang out with them. I didn't realize that when I said I would do it. Next year someone else can do the pictures. I'm a little nervous about the pictures though. They are good enough, I guess, I just hope people weren't expecting professional pictures because that they won't be. Only one set of lights showed up, and I needed another one on the other side, so the shadows are something fierce. And the scene was cute, but the backdrop wasn't big enough. O'well. What do people expect? I know what I expect of myself, but I think other's will be fine. Anyways, here is our picture from the party. That is really all I got of the kids. I will take more of them all dressed up on Halloween. Ava and I are witches, Blaise is Jack Sparrow, Caiden is Optimus Prime, and Jason is...............I don't know, but it cracks me up!!
