I want . . . .

to get organized.
to have my home put together and cute.
to always have a clean room!
for my house to have that "warm and cozy" feeling.

I have been wanting to do achieve this for awhile. Maybe it's this time of year, I don't know, but this is what I want, and I want it now.

I want my home to be a refuge, a cozy place to read a book, a place that smells like apple pie, happy and warm. Impossible . . . . mabye. But it's a worthwhile goal.

I have been looking for Christmas ideas. This house is twice as big as any home we have ever had to decorate at Christmas time. (4500sqft is a lot to make warm and cozy!) So I have been trying to jump start my ideas. I am REALLY trying to hold off on Christmas decorating until after Thanksgiving, but it's getting hard. So I look online to get ideas, and it makes it a bit easier. Here is what I have found so far.

I want that feeling in my home too, without having to spend a lot of money. I love All the ideas you found. You will have to share pictures as you get your house decorated.

I LOVE ALL OF THOSE LOOKS, FESTIVE, WARM & COZY, YET SIMPLISTIC AND REMINISCE OF DAYS GONE BY, YET WITH A BIG WOW FACTOR.
IT WOULD BE EASY TO CREATE ON A BUDGET TOO. BETWEEN TAI PAN, TARGET AND EVEN SOME PLACES LIKE BIG LOTS OR THE DOLLAR STORES.
HOW FUN, FUN, FUN. I'M SOOOOOO EXCITED TOO, CAN'T HARDLY WAIT. SINCE WE ARE NOT CLOSE TO EACH OTHER THOUGH, WE WILL HAVE TO SHARE THROUGH LOTS OF PICTURES.

I'm on CafeMoms and part of a group called I love Christmas! and you should see the pics of this one woman's house. I couldn't believe it, until I read the rest of her post and she explained that she's a professional lol But still her house is amazing! Here's the link to her pictures, hopefully it works. http://www.flickr.com/photos/12243778@N06/
