Weekend Up Date.
This weekend was really good. The kids are starting to feel better, and life is getting back to normal. Phew!
I got the laundry caught up.
Floors all cleaned.
Found all my Christmas decorations. (I haven't put them out yet. I am going to wait until the day after Thanksgiving, but it's getting hard. I want to start listening to Christmas music, baking, decorating. . . .I must resist! I must wait!)
Jason and I went out on a much needed date. We went with some friends. It was a fun night.
And oh-yah, I got ANOTHER calling! Yep, right when I thought my life was already crazy and hectic, I get another thing added. I got called to Cub Scouts! I know, laugh away, get it out of your system. I am a dance teacher, a girly girl, and now I am in Scouts! It's going to keep me busy! Everyone was preparing me for how much work it is. I hope a bunch of 8-9 year old boys are nice to me!!!
I also had a mini-shoot over the weekend. This little cutie was a lot of fun. I am going to take her family pictures this next weekend. I have A LOT of practicing to do between now and then. I love taking pictures, but I always feel like I need to get better! Isn't her outfit just the cutest too? I need to go buy Miss Ava some fun tights and some leg warmers. I will post more later.

Sounds like a good weekend. I was also called to Cub scouts, but I'm just an advancement leader. I have NO IDEA what that is, somebody is coming over to my house tomorrow to give me all of the stuff and explain it to me. Great photo shoot, I LOVE the close ups of the face...adorable little girl!

WAY cute pic! The last one is my fave. Scouts?! What did you expect when you had two boys....you were going to HAVE to end up in Scouts sometime! Have fun with that, I wouldn't know where to start?! hee hee Glad you had such a good weekend!
You did such a good job on those pictures. I have been in scouts for a year now. I am the cub scout committee chair. It has taken me awhile to figure everything out, but hopefully I will know what I am doing by the time my son gets in scouts. It is busy but can also be fun. You will be great!

SCOUTS, WOW, HMMMM, I'M SURE YOU WILL DO FINE WITH IT, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE A GIRLY GIRL YOU ARE SO CRAZY AND FUN THAT THE SCOUTS WILL LOVE YOU, THEY ARE LUCKY BOYS. DAD TAUGHT THE SCOUTS BEFORE, IT WAS MORE WORK THAN I THINK HE EXPECTED BUT I KNOW HE REALLY LOVED IT. HE HAD MATT, WHICH WAS ALWAYS FUN, FUN, FUN. :)
