{Fall} in love

It's official.

IT'S FALL!!!

I LOVE the month of October. Like SO SO SO much.

This little family of mine celebrate Halloween like no other. Every day in October we do something festive. It helps us to get centered on family, friends, fun, laughter, and good times. It helps us to remember we have a "BOO-tiful" life.

I have been a bit busy lately, (who hasn't, right?) so instead of creating a new blog design, I used the one from last year. I love it, and I would rather focus the time I DO have on other things. Isn't that something we could all do a bit more of? Take the time we have to do what we really want to do?

It seems like Mom's these days are in a competition to see who is busier. Well, personally, that isn't a competition I want to win!!! I don't want to be too busy to enjoy life. I don't want to have to compete with a neighbor on who is more important because my/her schedule is a bit more packed. I don't want to be running here, there, everywhere just to say that I did.

I AM a busy Mom, I have busy kids, I have a crazy hubby, and we have a baby visitor, ...........so I don't have a lot of time, but I do have SOME. We ALL have SOME. Maybe not as much as we would like, but it's there...............we just have to find it.

I love the fall because for some reason, this crisp air gives me the energy to FIND my time! To drink hot chocolate, to cuddle and read a book, to put in a movie and do nothing, to get my craft on, to bake, to go on walks, to LIVE!!!

We love Halloween because for that entire month, we celebrate the BOO-tiful life! We start our fall off enjoying life, then in November, we celebrate our gratitude for this life. And then in December, we can celebrate the reason for our life. October gets things going. October is BOO-tiful!

What makes your life so BOO-tiful?

This time of year is just so beautiful and family oriented. It's so fun to decorate and keep up old family traditions or start new ones.
I must say, I am even liking the cold weather we've been having lately. I don't know what's wrong with me! =)

I am so loving your layout--very creative!
I love pumpkins--I think this year it is because of the way Cillian points and says it!!

All I want to do is come hang out at your house in October. I just know it is the funnest place to be. And I am super excited that I get to come and see you this month. A trip to Utah is needed. Hope you are doing well without Jason there. Hang in there!

Great perspective. It does seem that many people compete with how busy they are. And we all are. It's how we choose to spend our time that really counts. It really shows what's most important to us. Is it our family? Our community commitments? How clean our house is? I'd much rather kick back and watch a movie with my hubby than make sure the floor is spotless. Unfortunately my house reflects this attitude...but I'm okay with that!

How did I miss this post? I think I was just so busy (I'm kidding) I think I must of been in route home from your place or something.

I love your concept of the next three months, perfect, I love it and you.

I had so much fun up there with you the past two weeks, thank you for everything.
