Anniversary
12 years!
I have been married to my guy for 12 years.
I love him. He loves me. We are still IN love.
We can make each other laugh, we know how to make each other cry, we still know how to give the other butterflies in their tummy with a kiss.
We are perfect for each other.
We are happy.
We took the family up to Hidden Lake to spend the day together. Jason is always out of town lately, so we felt bad leaving the kids, because Jason misses them too. So we spent the day fishing, reading, picnicking, hiking, and being in love.
That night Jason and I went out to dinner at a sports bar and watched the game.
It may not be considered a "romantic" day, and to some it would have totally not have counted as an anniversary celebration, but to us, it was perfect. Absolutely Perfect.
We wanted to celebrate our marriage the way we celebrate our life. Being together, as best friends, enjoying the day. And we did.
Maybe next year we'll opt for a more "romantic" outing.

Happy Anniversary -- I got the link to this blog from a friend along time ago and just love your outlook on life and with your family. -- I do have one question.. before you remodeled the blog you would post cooking activities you would do with the kids around holidays or crafts.. do you still do this and can you blog about them when you have?! I miss those terribly :) Thanks - Mallory
